About time I learned some new tunes. You're probably sick to death of hearing my usual ones. You've got a few good 'uns on here. And that's the first time I've actually seen a picture of Claude Arrieu. |

Hello Peter,
I found your website while searching for "hawkeynet." I suspect somewhere in our past we share a common ancestor. I very much enjoyed listening to your music. It is interesting that our family is also quite musical and two of my daughters play flutes! |

Hello Peter,
I came across your excellent website tune resource after searching Google for a particular tune - Steels Jig, and I found it here!
All I have to do now is practice reading the dots!
Best wishes,
Paul |

Hi Peter,
Hope things are going well for you. I'm planning on coming over that way this Summer. I had been emailing with Ian. He told me he wasn't as involved with the folk club planning anymore, but that there was a good likelihood I would be able to be included in the Folk weekend in July. He said the committe would meet in January.
Haven't heard back from him since (I've emailed a couple of times). Some of my tour hinges on this weekend, so if you know anything about it, or who else to get in touch with, please email me back.
Would love to see all of you again. I've started recording that song we all wrote at the workshop I did last time. People love it |

Dear Peter,
Email, if you have time when lounging around at work. (Who was that flute teacher you had in Inverurie?)

Hi Peter,
I was looking through your collection of Reels and you have wrongly attributed my tune "Repeal The Poll Tax" to Matt Seattle.
It's true that Matt has recorded the tune but I'd be grateful if you'd amend the attribution and put the record straight.
I'm well used by now to people reproducing and copying the tune without payment (c'est la vie) but I do appreciate being acknowledged as the composer..
Best wishes,
Sandy Mathers |
